HAIPAI VIEWING STONE ART EXHIBITION
Recommendation from the Shanghai Viewing Stone Association and viewing stone collectors.
服務說明
Following the opening up, a large number of immigrants arrived in Shanghai and brought their cultures with them, thereby integrating western cultures into regional Shanghai style. Haipai (literally "Shanghai style") refers to Shanghai's avant-garde but distinct "East Meets West" culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Shanghai is a typical Chinese commercial city. Shanghai became the forerunner in embracing novel styles, including new changes in values, behaviours, academy, fashion, and customs, as a result of its unique geographic location. Haipai Culture is "rebellious" in its opposition to traditional conventions and "bold" in its innovation. One of the most famous Chinese writers, Lu Xun, once said, "Jingpai is bureaucracy, and Haipai is commercialism," which perfectly encapsulated the commercial nature of Haipai Culture. Haipai Culture was more concerned with the needs of the market and the common people, which had a significant impact on elite culture. Haipai Culture does not die or lose its appeal in modern China. On the contrary, it continues to have an impact on modern Chinese culture. In modern terms, Haipai Culture is seen as a symbol of diversity and inclusiveness, a distinct style that combines orientalism and western culture. "Stone Stories - Haipai Viewing Stone Art Exhibition" is a gathering of nature art and traditional culture that allows collectors to share relevant resources. The State Council has designated viewing stone art as a representative list of national intangible cultural heritage. This event drew a large number of viewing stone collectors and precious collections. The Shanghai Viewing Stone Association organised this exhibition to carry forward the Haipai (Shanghai Style) viewing stone to create a stage divided into three chapters and more than 300 pieces fine collections. The new book "Shanghai Viewing Stone Grand View" will be available for purchase during the opening ceremony.
