China Oscar-Claude Monet (November 14, 1840 – December 5, 1926), a French painter, a leading figure and one of the founders of Impressionism. The term "Impressionism" originates from his famous work "Impression, Sunrise," which was exhibited in 1874 at the first independent exhibition organized by Monet and his colleagues. The "Meet Monet: Immersive Light and Shadow Exhibition" takes Monet's life trajectory as its thread, selecting 54 classic works to explore his revolutionary artistic achievements and pivotal moments in his extraordinary life. The exhibition presents from Monet's "Impression, Sunrise" to "Water Lilies," from exquisite Paris salons to misty garden ponds, from the first steps on the artistic path to the exquisite Paris salon "escape," from traversing the rapidly changing city of the industrial era to boarding a southbound steam train, from stepping on foreign soil to observe natural wonders to entering lush gardens and ponds, rendered with digital multimedia technology, immersing visitors in the blend of light, color, shadow, and sound of Impressionism, experiencing the ultimate Monet space.
